Pierre Gilles, MD, has joined Hannibal Regional Medical Group’s expanding surgical team. As a General/Laparoscopic Surgeon, Dr. Gilles has knowledge of and familiarity with a broad spectrum of diseases that may require surgical treatment. Dr. Gilles is board certified by the American Board of Surgery. He joins Schuyler Metlis, MD, Plastic Surgeon, Edward Cline, DPM, Podiatric Surgery, and Kevin Lollar, MD, Otolaryngology (ENT) on the third floor of the Hannibal Regional Medical building.

Dr. Gilles received his undergraduate and medical degree from Northwestern School of Medicine in Chicago. He completed an internship at Baylor University, Texas Medical Center and Residency at Huron Road Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Gilles has been involved in surgical mission trips to Haiti and El. Salvador. Most recently Dr. Gilles worked for Cigna Medical Group in Tempe, Arizona.
