HANNIBAL, MO – Aug. 18, 2011 - Walmart (NYSE: WMT) and Hannibal Regional Medical Group today announced Hannibal, Missouri’s newest location for basic health care services – “The Clinic at Walmart” operated by Hannibal Regional Medical Group.  This convenient care clinic will open Sept. 13 inside the Walmart located at 3560 Stardust Drive.

The clinic will provide convenient, affordable access to basic health care services, seven days a week, with no appointment necessary.  The walk-in health clinic is the first owned and operated by Hannibal Regional Medical Group in a Walmart.  The clinic will be open for walk-in care Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.; Saturday, 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.; and Sunday 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.

For busy customers who need care, especially after working hours or on weekends, the clinic will treat common health ailments and offer routine services.  These include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Bladder infections
• Blood sugar testing
• Camp and school physicals
• Ear aches • Flu
• Insect bites and stings
• Minor wounds
• Sinus infections
• Upper respiratory infections
