Ryan S. Easley, D.O., Anesthesiologist, has joined Hannibal Regional Medical Group. Dr. Easley completed his undergraduate education at Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri and received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed a residency in anesthesia at Des Peres Hospital in St. Louis, MO. Prior to coming to Hannibal, Dr. Easley was an anesthesiologist at Great Plains Regional Medical Center in North Platte, Nebraska.

Anesthesiologists are physicians who work with surgeons to sedate patients and assist with providing medications for pain relief during surgical procedures. They administer anesthetics, which are medicines to prevent patients from feeling pain and sensations; closely monitor patient vital signs during surgery and adjust anesthetics accordingly; monitor patients through the first recovery stages after an operation; and administer appropriate medications during recovery.
